  • The Three Levels of Learning -- An overview of the series that introduces the three foundations of a Learning Centered School.
  • Conscious Attention – The study of the science and art of gaining, keeping, and applying a learner's finite attention span to the intended curriculum.
  • Chunking – The study of the brain's short-term memory systems, how to avoid “memory overload”, how to segment curriculum for maximum learning, and other implications for successful lesson design and instruction.
  • Connection – An updated study of the age-old practice of accelerating learning by linking new information to past experiences.
  • Practice – The study of effective strategies for improving recall and application through rehearsal, repeated effort, drill, repetition, study, and review.
  • Personal Relevance – The study of the brain's ability to learn rapidly, deeply, and memorably.
  • Locale Memory – The study of the brain's ability to organize great amounts of complex information around the learner's position or “locale” in three-dimensional space, and how to teach real curriculum through this powerful but underutilized memory system.
  • Mental Models – The study of using images, models, sensory experiences, symbol systems, and creative processing methodologies to support the learner's natural tendency to construct frameworks, or “mental models” that support deepened curricular learning.
  • First Time Learning – This program teaches specific strategies for how teachers might use, and not misuse, this powerful tendency.
  • Neural Downshifting –  The study of the brain's reaction to threat and stress in the learning environment and how to counter these effects
  • Enriched Environments – The study of the effects of classroom culture, climate, and community on learner attention, effort, persistence, and achievement
  • Success - The study of the key factors to student effort and success.
  • Performance Feedback – This program examines the powerful effects of abundant, immediate, and specific learning feedback.
  • Six Big Ideas Part 1 – Teachers employ hundreds of strategies in a typical day. Are some of these ideas more beneficial than others? The answer is, yes!
  • Six Big Ideas Part 2 – This program examines three more “Big Ideas” that produce significantly higher levels of student learning… Task Analysis, Overt Responses, and Mid-Course Corrections.
