The Ballantyne Resort Charlotte, North Carolina

Creating the Learning Centered School, is based on the premise that teachers cannot sustain student achievement gains over time through recipes and quick fix programs. LCS was created to provide the profound knowledge that teachers need to apply in instructional decisions made daily in the classroom. LCS validates effective practice, provides additional instructional strategies, enhances teacher capacity and commitment, and promotes accelerated learning through student engagement.

Each team will receive a complete LCS Media Package to take the conference back to your school or district. This package includes fifteen interactive programs on DVD and a facilitator’s manual. Retail value: $1,850.00.

•Facilitator training sessions will provide the opportunity  for school teams to experience how the materials are introduced, how faculty group sessions are conducted   and how the follow up activities impact instructional improvement.
